Event Details:

The annual Illumination of the Sharon Temple remains one of our most popular local events. Historically it's held on the first Friday of September each year since 1831, its purpose was to celebrate success of the community's harvest.

It's an opportunity to see the Temple fully illuminated with beeswax candles lighting the entire first storey, while being treated to musical entertainment and experiencing the space as it was meant to be enjoyed.

This year they've expanded the event to include a Pig Roast, Food Trucks and entertainment outdoors starting at 4 p.m. Live music featuring Christopher Dallo, Patrick Fockler, Glenn Marais, Bernadette Connors and The Grady Brothers, bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music.
