Give your favorite clothing a second, refreshed life!

Join us to learn practical mending techniques, including visible mending, patching, and basic repairs, to restore damaged garments, extend the life of clothing, and reduce textile waste. Please bring a piece of clothing you would like to mend.

What you'll learn:

• Basic hand-sewing techniques
• Creative patching and mending methods
• Tips for extending the life of your wardrobe

Join us for a 5-week series designed to help turn your ideas into real products, services, and business opportunities. Delivered by Y2 Entrepreneurship Labs, students in Grades 9 to 12 will meet with mentors, learn how to identify everyday problems, generate product or service ideas, develop a marketing strategy, and evaluate what ideas have the greatest potential. Program made possible by the Town of EG Economic Development.

This is a free program, but pre-registration is required. Participants must be available for all 5 sessions.

Participants must be in Grade 9 to 12.
