Civic Centre Site Revitalization Open House
Have you been to the Civic Centre, and do you have ideas about the amenities that would enhance the site outdoors? We want to hear your vision for the Civic Centre Site Revitalization project! Your feedback could help bring an outdoor amphitheatre, seasonal skating, new playground and more to the space.

Join East Gwillimbury and the EG Public Library on April 25 for The Art of Upcycling Workshop! Residents and their families are invited to take part in The Art of Upcycling, a fun, hands-on workshop led by a local EG artist. Participants of all ages will learn how everyday items that might otherwise end up in the garbage can be transformed into creative crafts and simple works of art. 

Bring clean reusable items from home and turn everyday materials into unique art projects using provided supplies, such as glass bottles, plastic containers, fabric scraps, lids, and other similar materials to use in their creations. Basic art supplies—including paint, glue, and paper will be provided to help bring ideas to life.

The artist will guide participants through easy, imaginative projects while sharing tips on reuse and creativity. This interactive workshop encourages residents to explore sustainable choices, work together, and see waste in a new way, proving that when you love it and upgrade it, you can turn everyday items into something fun, meaningful, and unique.
