Go Canada Go! Soccer Watch Parties

Soccer fans, get ready to bring your Team Canada spirit and join your community at the Health and Active Living Plaza (HALP), located at 160 Jim Mortson Drive, for two exciting community soccer watch parties this month in partnership with the EG Soccer Club.

Residents and visitors are invited to gather with friends, family, and fellow fans to enjoy the matches on the big screen and bring the red and white spirit to the HALP gymnasium on:

·       Team Canada Kickoff Game vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina - Friday, June 12, from 3 to 6 p.m.

·       Canada vs. Qatar - Thursday, June 18, from 6 to 9 p.m.

  • Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Location:Health and Active Living Plaza (160 Jim Mortson Drive)
  • Event Description: Join us for a Pride and NIHM Celebration at the Health and Active Living Plaza on Saturday, June 20, in collaboration with the Town and the EG Public Library (EGPL)!
    • 10:30 to 11 a.m.: Attend an Indigenous Learning Circle led by members of the GIFN. Learn about the naming of EGPL Queensville Branch rooms with Anishinaabemowin terms.

    • 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Shop local at the Pride and NIHM Vendors’ Market with 2SLGBTQIA+ and Indigenous-owned businesses.

    • 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Make your own custom button at a drop-in Pride and NIHM button-making station. 

    • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Celebrate Pride and Indigenous cultures at various free, fun, and engaging recreation and cultural activities.
