It’s Back! Upper Canada Mall’s Annual Run/Walk for Easter Seals Kids – Founded by Joe Persechini!

Enjoy a fun, family-friendly affair to celebrate 45 years of this run, the longest in York Region history and to also celebrate that Easter Seals Ontario turns 100 years old this year!  That is 100 years of helping children with physical disabilities grow with independence and dignity.  You have all been apart of this history and it is time for us to commemorate it.
Start Times for 2022

Welcome and warm-up for 10k/5k Race: 8:30 a.m.
10k Run start:  8:45 a.m.
5k Run for start: 9:00 a.m.

Welcome and Warm Up for 5k Walk for Friends and Family: 9:30am
5k Walk for Friends and Family:  9:45am

Awards and Recognition: 11:00am

Registration fee for 10k or 5k Run:

·          Children 10 and under can enter free and do not need to register if they walk with their family.

• Children entering for FREE will not receive race swag.
• A $5 fee will apply to any race/bib changes after registration is completed. This applies to runners only as they will be timed and a new timing chip will be required.

The 2022 Upper Canada Mall Annual Walk/Run for Easter Seals Kids will be held at Newmarket Riverwalk Commons on Sunday May 31,2020, located at 200 Doug Duncan Drive in downtown Newmarket.

Both the 10k and 5k races will start and finish at the Newmarket Riverwalk Commons with hundreds of spectators cheering you on and take you through beautiful and scenic Fairy Lake. Whether you’re looking to set a personal best in the 10k or simply enjoy a leisurely walk with your family while raising funds for Easter Seals Ontario, we have something for everyone!
