National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Flag Raising - This event has already occurred

Join us on September 30 from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR) and Orange Shirt Day (OSD) flag raising! The flag raising will be held outside at the EG Civic Centre (19000 Leslie Street). The flag raising falls upon the NDTR and Orange Shirt Day. It invites reflection on the violence of the Residential School System and mourning of the Indigenous children who suffered terrible abuses and who never returned home. The event will also be live streamed on our Facebook page.
