East Gwillimbury is undergoing a Complete Street Secondary Plan to set the stage for future development of the whitebelt lands within the Town’s Urban Boundary. A Secondary Plan is required to establish the land use designations and specific policies to guide the future development and growth of these areas. The final plan will set out the overall vision and policies related to the area it covers. The Secondary Plan will address items such as height and density of development, what roads and trails are needed, where schools and parks will go, and more.
The first public information session about the Plan will be held on June 10, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the East Gwillimbury Operations Centre located at, 19850 Woodbine Avenue. Learn more at eastgwillimbury.ca/CompleteCommunities.
